SAGA 2.0 SUPERCHARGED

SAGA SUPERCHARGED is part of the new SAGA 2.0 series, which is a further development of our most popular series of water heaters. SAGA water heaters can be found in over half of all Norwegian homes, and now they are available in Canada.
SAGA SUPERCHARGED learns the consumption and automatically moves the heating of hot water to the times of the day with the lowest electricity price – without the user having to do anything.
The SAGA 2.0 series has 30% more foam insulation and is the most energy-efficient water heater on the market. A SAGA SUPERCHARGE (50 gal) saves 3,000 kWh more during its lifetime than its predecessor.
The SAGA 2.0 series has high efficiency, smart solutions and higher storage temperature, which makes it superior to any other water heater in the market. A high storage temperature of 167 °F (75 °F) means that OSO water heater can deliver 30% to 40% more hot water compared to a similar volume conventional hot water tank.
SAGA 2.0 STANDARD comes with a single heating element. It is easy to install with all pipe connections on top. The mixing valve lowers the outgoing water temperature to prevent scalding.
The average lifespan of an OSO domestic water heater is 26 years, and the warranty period on the pressure tank is a full 7 years.
The SAGA 2.0 SUPERCHARGED smart water heater learns how much hot water is used, monitors your energy usage, and heats the water when the electricity price is lowest.
SUPERCHARGED has a built-in OSO CHARGE controller, which automatically moves the heating of hot water to the times of the day with the lowest electricity price, or matched to your solar PV system in solar mode. OSO CHARGE could provide savings of hundreds of dollars per year for an average family, depending on your electricity rates.
