OPTIMA TWINCOIL – OTC

Water heater with heat and hot water from heat pump with hot water priority

Water heater Optima Twincoils – OTC – effectiveness and fast recovery time covers the hot water demand for at least 6 people and the heating requirements in homes up to approx. 400m² in a single unit. OPTIMA TWINCOIL is suitable for heat pumps with hot water prioritization up to 15 kW, using the large heating surface (2.6m²) on the heat exchanger in the hot water tank.

The stainless buffer tank of 85 L with the possibility of connection to ≤ 12m² solar collectors using a further heat exchanger (0.7m²), as well as a 9 kW electric operation option, gives the heat pump optimal operating conditions and full energy flexibility for the future. OTC has an electric heating element at the bottom of the tank to protect against bacterial growth (controlled externally). The element can also be used as emergency heating for HP. Mixing valve can easily be retrofitted as an additional equipment.

Water heater OPTIMA is the market’s most advanced and energy efficient tank-in-tank products, with foam insulation and patented solutions to increase hot water production from alternative energy sources. The OPTIMA series integrates both stainless steel buffer tank and heat exchangers in one unit, and takes up minimal space. The mixing valve lowers the outgoing hot water temperature and prevents the risk of scalding. Water heater OPTIMA is particularly well suited as preparation for heat pump installation in the future, and can supply both heat and hot water with electrical elements.

WHY CHOOSE OPTIMATWINCOIL?

Advantages

MORE HOT WATER
Substantially higher temperature (70°C+), highly efficient mixing valve (no scolding), minimal heat loss and optimal design features gives up to 20 % more hot water and class leading capacity.

PRO INSULATION
The use of NANOPUR™ with insulation values far surpassing Pentane, often in combination with VACUUM panels, ensures minimum heat loss and class leading energy efficiency.

STRONGER
EVERLAST™ titanium alloyed stainless steel in combination with OSO’s unique ULTRAWELD™ system and state-of-the-art passivation process equals class leading corrosion resistance.

LIGHTER
EVERLAST™ titanium alloyed, high tensile strength, stainless steel equals lower weight and efficient use of resources. OSO products are more than 40 % lighter than enameled products.

BUILT TO LAST
INCOTEC™ el. immersion heaters with ultra high-grade Incoloy 825 stainless, DZR brass, zinc-free soldering and carefully calculated surface loads results in maximum durability in hard water.
